Proclaim the gospel in our life not trying to please man
« on: February 03, 2010, 10:55:41 PM »
1 Thessalonians 2:4 but just as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who examines our hearts.

Paul spoke boldly to the Thessalonians.

1 thessalonians 2:2 but after we had already suffered and been mistreated in Philippi, as you know, we had the boldness in our God to speak to you the gospel of God amid much opposition.

He used the scriptures to answer their questions about the gospel and presented the gospel to them in an intelligent manner.

Acts 17:2  And according to Paul's custom, he went to them, and for three Sabbaths reasoned with them from the Scriptures,

Are not we all under the same great commission from Christ.
